Listen to the Special Tribute for 9/11
Today marks 25 years since the events of September 11th. For some, that might feel like a lifetime ago, but for so many of us, especially those who lived through it right here in New York, the memory of it never truly fades.
Over the years, we’ve taken time on the air to honor and remember that day. And every time, the response from you, our listeners, has been powerful, heartfelt, and deeply moving. We’re proud to be one of the few local stations where people can still feel seen, heard, and respected when it comes to sharing the truth of what that day meant, and still means.
Last year, during a special edition of Duff & DeAngelis on 9/11, our own radio legend Judy DeAngelis, who was on the air with 1010 WINS during those moments in time, shared her personal reflections and experiences. Her voice was a source of calm and strength back then, and it continues to be now. She was joined by Duff, and together they put a tremendous amount of heart and effort into creating a powerful program.
